I am an artist who seeks to connect what I know and feel with new experiences, processes and materials. While I work principally in textiles and metalworking, I love extending into glass, paper, tile, ceramic, digital photography and video.
I begin each exploration with a feeling or a hue (color) and allow intuition to guide my next move. The only “rule” is to follow the small, joyful voice within. If this younger me asks for “blue,” I work in blue. When I allow myself to dive into the work, gifting the time–space–trust to follow this intuition, the work is amazing. Indeed, for me it is transformational.
